Ladder Training
Ladder Association training at the Test & Research Centre is delivered by our training partner, RSC Training.
Our core course is Ladder & Stepladder for Users, a half-day LadderCard qualification covering safe selection, use, and inspection of ladders and stepladders under the Association’s STEP methodology. RSC Training also run the wider Ladder Association syllabus here, including dedicated Inspection courses and the combined User & Inspection qualification for staff who need both.
Courses are run at our purpose-built training facility in Soham – a fully equipped training room, for practical hands-on ladder training.
Spacious and professional Ladder training facilities
Tall Tower
- 195 sq m tower (2,098 sq ft), 25m to underside of roof with access gantries from floor to roof
- Open sections allow access from floor to roof
- Possible uses: tower training, rigger training, ladder training, rope access training, MEWP training, etc.
Training room
- 41 sq m (441 sq ft) training room capable of accommodating 16 in boardroom layout, 12 in classroom layout and 27 in theatre style
- Ceiling mounted HD projector with wireless and HDMI connections
Training area
- 312 sq m (3,358 sq ft) training area, comprising of tall tower and ground floor areas
- Toilets and kitchen facilities
- Mixture of steel structure, cladding and blockwork walls for a variety of training uses
